The National Administration of Electric Power Plants and Transmissions (UTE) is a public company in the Energy Sector, which through the development of activities of generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization of electrical energy, provides advisory services and technical assistance to different sectors of the society.

Its mission is to provide electrical service within a framework of economic, social and environmental sustainability, making it possible to access it to all homes and activities in the country, in a safe and reliable manner, with a level of quality that satisfies the needs of customers at the lowest possible cost.

The UTE Technical Training Center needed a tool to improve the training of its workers, which had to identify images with a mobile device and display technical information related to the recognized objects.

DigitalProjex found a solution based on augmented reality and artificial intelligence. We created a prototype made up of a mobile application for Android, which we integrated into a machine learning system that allowed us to recognize an object from a photo. In turn, we developed an application in Genexus 16, to incorporate the technical information related to the registered objects.

DigitalProjex provided the UTE Technical Training Center with a mobile application to improve the learning process of its technicians and students, allowing them to classify different work tools and obtain detailed information about them for quick and agile use. By taking a photograph, the application identifies objects and interactively displays all related information: images, videos, PDF documents, texts, among other materials.
